The Sioux City Economic Development Department has created this award to highlight businesses that provide significant growth and commitment in Sioux City. Companies are selected on a periodic basis and recognized by the Mayor and Council members. Those businesses are given a certificate to receive a complimentary tree, signifying the growth of the business and helping to beautify the City, which will be planted on their property by City crews. The marketing initiative is geared towards building partnerships as well as recognizing and promoting business growth within in the Sioux City community.
