Cold-Link Logistics Opens New $60 Million Facility

Cold-Link Logistics is celebrating their new cold storage facility in Southbridge Business Park in Sioux City. The Miami-based cold storage warehousing firm held a ribbon cutting and open house on July 28, 2023 at their new $60 million facility, which has been open for nearly 3 months. Located on 37 acres of the city’s 27 Flags industrial site, the company currently employs 80 people and is serving local companies such as Perdue, empirical and Wells Blue Bunny with plans for a 120,000 sq. ft. expansion by next summer.

In addition to the outstanding quality of the site, Cold-Link Logistics President Michael Mandich commented how impressed he has been with the people of Sioux City.

The city purchased the 27 Flags Golf Course and has invested in the area by paving roads, adding a water treatment plant, rail yard, and utilities. The project will have a major impact on the food processing industry in the region.
